Research Associate (PostDoc) - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen - 2nd qualification period (Habilitation)

Are you passionate about digital platforms and technologies (especially Cloud-native _and Blockchain technologies) and engineering methods (especially in support of continuous, quality-driven software engineering) that shape and drive the next generation of distributed enterprise systems? Do you enjoy advancing the field and teaching and educating others?

We are looking for someone (m/f/d) to join our team of highly motivated and committed researchers and educators inventing, innovating, and teaching about high-quality, advanced solutions in this context. We do foundational as well as applied research, like to build hands-on system prototypes, publish our findings in renowned scientific communities, and transfer findings to industry and society. We work both independently and in national and international projects with partners from academia and with corporations alike.

As a Postdoc in this team, you will take leadership. You will work closely with the head of the chair and lead in research projects as well as in teaching. In doing so, you will gain valuable experience qualifying yourself for other leadership positions in academia and in the industry in the future.

You own a successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in Computer Science or in a Computer Science related discipline and a qualified Ph.D. degree in the Engineering Sciences. Research experience in general and in the technologies mentioned above, in teaching at Bachelor and Master level, and in project work, are required. The ability to teach in German and/or in English is required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills.
