The Department of Management at the School of Business & Economics is seeking a research assistant (postdoc). The department is an international center for research in management and consists of four Chairs for Organization, Human Resource Management, Strategy & Business Ethics, and Gender, Governance & International Management. Our research employs organizational theory and institutional approaches to address current questions with relevance to society (e.g., sustainability, inequality, corporate governance). We work with both qualitative and quantitative empirical methods. Our teaching is grounded in theory and research-oriented while at the same time relevant for practice.

Tasks
Job description:
- independent research on self-chosen topics and/or in cooperation with members of the department
- independent teaching in the modules of the Department of Management in the B.Sc. in Business Administration and the M.Sc. in Management & Marketing
- participation in the academic self-administration of the Department of Management and the School of Business & Economics
- The position is intended for personal scientific qualification.
Requirements
Requirements:
- completed university degree (M.Sc., Magister, Diplom, or Staatsexamen) in business administration or related fields (e.g., psychology, social sciences or economics)
- completed doctoral degree in management or related fields
Desirable: - excellent academic achievements
- very good track-record of research and publication activities, preferably on an international level in one of the following areas of management: Organization, strategy, alliances and networks, human resource management or supply chain management
- teaching experience in German and English in the areas of management, sustainability, supply and operations management or related fields
- profound knowledge and experience of quantitative or qualitative research methods
- excellent command of spoken and written scientific communication in German and English
- motivation for scientific qualification
