The successful applicant will cover research and teaching in the field of mathematics education at
primary school level (first to sixth)

Governed by Section 100 of the Berlin Higher Education Act (Berliner Hochschulgesetz – BerIHG), in
particular Section 100.3 BerlHG:
For a position that involves subject-specific tasks related to teaching methodology in the context of
teacher-training degree programs, only those who can additionally provide proof of three years of
practical experience in primary/secondary education should be appointed; for a position whose job
description foresees the handling of tasks related specifically to the field of educational science, only
those who can additionally provide proof of three years of practical experience in primary/secondary
education or comparable practical experience should be appointed.
