Research assistant - salary grade E 13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen - 1st qual­i­fic­a­tion period (PhD can­did­ate)

• Research on power electronic solutions for converter dominated power grids using simulation, test setups and PHIL techniques
• Further development of the power electronics laboratory setups
• Teaching tasks in the course "Grundlagen der Elektrotechnik" (Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering) as well as in the bachelor and master courses on power electronics;
• Supervision of students
• Participation in the project work at the Chair of Power Electronics

• Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) with very good success in electrical engineering
• Very good technical knowledge of power electronics and control engineering, knowledge of electric energy systems
• Experience in electronics and power electronics hardware development and measurement technology
• The ability to teach in German and/or English is required; willingness to acquire the missing language skills

Desieable:

• Experience in microcontroller programming
• Organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a scientific manner
• Teaching experience
• Enjoy supervising students
