The Cluster of Excellence “Unifying Systems in Catalysis” (UniSysCat) at TU Berlin has set itself the goal of increasing the number of women in academic management positions. This goal is also to be achieved by helping women prepare for a postdoctoral period abroad, a key professional experience for a career in science. To this end, the Cluster of Excellence UniSysCat is seeking applications for a one-year postdoc position from outstanding female scientists who have completed their doctorate in a topic or field relevant to the Cluster’s research.
Depending on the candidate’s research focus, the position can be taken up at one of eight partner institutions in addition to TU Berlin (www.unisyscat.de).
Collaboration in a UniSysCat research project corresponding to your own research focus
Submission of a grant proposal for a postdoc abroad
Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in chemistry, biology, or a related specialization
A doctorate in a field relevant to catalysis
Innovative project proposals are requested which can be integrated into the Cluster of Excellence’s research program
Willingness to participate in interdisciplinary projects
Teamwork skills and social competences
Excellent English and German skills
