Research assist­ant - salary grade E13 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len - 2nd qual­i­fic­a­tion period

Work­ing field:

  • acit­ive par­ti­cip­a­tion in research and teach­ing activ­it­ies in tech­nical mech­an­ics with emphasis in con­tinuum mech­an­ics and con­stitutive the­ory
  • qual­i­fic­a­tion obect­ive: habil­it­a­tion
  • research in the field of mech­an­ics with emphasis on ther­mo­mech­an­ical mater­ial the­or­ies, ana­lyt­ical and numer­ical meth­ods of con­tinuum the­ory
  • teach­ing: fun­da­ment­als of engin­eer­ing mech­an­ics, hands-on pro­ject to finite ele­ment ana­lysis, fun­da­ment­als of con­tinuum the­ory I/II

Require­ments:

  • suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom oder equi­val­ent) in phys. engin­eer­ing, mech­an­ical engin­eer­ing or a related degree, doc­tor­ate in phys­ical engin­eer­ing or phys­ics
  • excel­lent know­ledge of the­or­et­ical mech­an­ics as well as con­tinuum mech­an­ics and mater­ial the­ory, espe­cially in the field auf rational ther­mo­mech­an­ics
  • suf­fi­cient lan­guage pro­fi­ciency to teach classes in both Ger­man and Eng­lish is expec­ted
