  • Manufacturing of novel fibre reinforced plastic filaments for 3D printing using extrusion (in cooperation with the Dept. for Polymer Technology),
  • 3D-printing (FDM) of test specimens using the novel filament,
  • Planning and conducting tensile experiments for material characterization,

  • Life-Cycle-Assessment (LCA) and analyses of recycling potentials as well as local needs for applications in rural farming in the context of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (in cooperation with MichiganTech),
  • CAD modeling and possibly structural simulations of devices made from the novel material,
  • Discussion and further development of the project's guiding questions in the international team.
