  • par­ti­cip­a­tion in the research pro­ject at the depart­ment in the fields of traffic safety and road design
  • the research assist­ant has an oppor­tun­ity to work towards a PhD dur­ing this pro­ject

  • a suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) is provided with the field traffic engin­eer­ing or struc­tural engin­eer­ing with the focus on traffic engin­eer­ing
  • the can­did­ates are also expec­ted to have in-depth know­ledge in the field of road traffic sys­tem design out­side built-up areas, as well as in-depth know­ledge in the field of acci­dent data ana­lysis
  • know­ledge in the use of appro­pri­ate sub­ject-spe­cific soft­ware, in par­tic­u­lar Arc­GIS, CARD/1, VESTRA, Pro­ViS and basic stat­ist­ical know­ledge are desir­able
  • pro­ject speech (com­mu­nic­a­tion with pur­chaser and pro­ject reports) will be in Ger­man
  • the can­did­ate ought to have very good Ger­man skills
