The research project in the field of product development methods and processes in aircraft construction aims at the search, structural analysis, synthesis and modelling of complex energy-efficient flight systems during the concept design phase based on an extended Advanced Morphological Approach (AMA) for Energy Efficient Engineering Systems (ES). The previous approaches of using the results of structured expert surveys and workshops are to be further digitalized and virtualized and supplemented by statistical approaches in the interpretation of results. The application focus will be on the design and modeling of energy efficient flight vehicles in all categories.
successfully completed university studies (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent engineering sciences
In-depth knowledge and experience in aircraft design
Knowledge of product development methods and processes in aircraft development
Knowledge of statistics and correlation analysis
Software skills: C (Visual C), Delphi, Python or equivalent, Microsoft Office applications
Good English and German language skills in spoken and written (min. B1)
Experience in good scientific work
Experience in project management and workshop organization
Russian language skills
social skills: Ability to work in a team, reliability, independent working, communication skills
