teaching at the Institute of Mathematics (Geometry and Mathematical Physics), including exercise classes, seminars and lectures, if required (4 SWS for a full time position), (co)-supervising Bachelor and Master theses.
successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in mathematics and PhD in the area of dynamical systems with emphasis on integrable systems
teaching experience at the university level
international research experience
very good command of English and of German
very good knowledge of differential geometry and symplectic geometry
experience in experimental mathematics and in application of symbolic and numerical software
high level of motivation and initiative
collaborative and communicative way of working
