Work­ing field:

Col­lab­or­a­tion in the field of build­ing energy sys­tems in teach­ing, admin­is­tra­tion and rese­arch:
Teach­ing:
Super­vi­sion of cour­ses and exer­cises in the area of the depart­ment's main focus; super­vi­sion of Bach­elor and Mas­ter the­ses
Admin­is­tra­tion:
Par­ti­cip­a­tion in the gen­eral organ­isa­tion of the depart­ment, inde­pend­ent pro­ject man­age­ment, lead­ing a team, par­ti­cip­a­tion in pro­ject acquis­i­tion
Rese­arch:
Focus: Indoor air flows (exper­i­men­tal and numer­ical flow sim­u­la­tions), dis­per­sion of air­borne con­tam­in­a­tion in indoor spaces

Require­ments:

  • suc­cess­fully com­ple­ted uni­ver­sity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in the field of build­ing energy engin­eer­ing, energy and pro­cess engin­eer­ing; mech­an­ical engin­eer­ing, fluid mech­an­ics or equi­val­ent with a focus on the field of vent­il­a­tion and air-con­di­tion­ing tech­no­logy and indoor air flows
  • exper­i­ence in the super­vi­sion and imple­ment­a­tion of cour­ses in the above-men­tio­ned fields of activ­ity
  • in-depth know­ledge at sci­ent­i­fic level in the above-men­tio­ned rese­arch areas, pro­ven by work­ing on at least one rese­arch pro­ject
  • very good know­ledge of the use of meas­ure­ment tech­no­logy and flow sim­u­la­tion soft­ware for the rese­arch area
  • exper­i­ence in the super­vi­sion and imple­ment­a­tion of cour­ses in the above-men­tio­ned fields of activ­ity
  • team and pro­ject man­age­ment, organ­iz­a­tio­nal skills
  • good know­ledge of Ger­man and Eng­lish, both writ­ten and spo­ken, will­ing­ness to learn the lan­guage skills that are miss­ing in each case
Desir­able:
  • par­ti­cip­a­tion in pro­ject acquis­i­tion
  • man­age­ment of a team of rese­arch­ers
  • exper­i­ence out­side the uni­ver­sity
  • flex­ib­il­ity, inte­rest in new chal­len­ges
