Work­ing field:

  • Col­lab­or­a­tion in all research activ­it­ies of the chair, espe­cially in the field of rail­way oper­a­tions, rail human factors and altern­at­ive propul­sion sys­tems
  • Pre­par­a­tion and design of research applic­a­tions
  • Assump­tion of newly-acquired research pro­jects


  • Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) prefer­ably in trans­port­a­tion sys­tems, mech­an­ical engin­eer­ing or related dis­cip­lines
  • In-depth know­ledge in rail­way oper­a­tions and tech­no­logy
  • Prefer­ably know­ledge in rail human factors, risk and secur­ity man­age­ment, altern­at­ive propul­sion sys­tems, acci­dent ana­lysis
  • Good Ger­man and Eng­lish skills
