Work­ing field:

The per­son to be hired works in the task area:
1. digital / com­pu­ta­tional archi­tec­ture
2. focus: bio-com­pu­ta­tion and digital archi­tec­ture pro­duc­tion with robot-sup­por­ted and 3D-print-sup­por­ted man­u­fac­tur­ing tech­niques.
3. col­lab­or­a­tion on: a. Pub­lic­a­tions; b. oper­a­tional research; c. Pre­par­a­tion of pro­ject present­a­tions; d. Dis­sem­in­a­tion of research con­tent; e. Par­ti­cip­a­tion in meet­ings with part­ners in and out­side Ber­lin

Require­ments:

  • suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in archi­tec­ture
Man­dat­ory cri­teria
  • Excel­lent know­ledge of GH and Rhino
  • Know­ledge in script­ing (C#, Python, C++)
  • 3D Print­ing Exper­i­ence
  • Know­ledge of Auto­Cad
  • Very good know­ledge of Adobe, ideally Afteref­fects
  • Lan­guage skills in Ger­man and Eng­lish flu­ently
desir­able com­pet­ences (can-cri­teria)
  • Sim­u­la­tion with Multi-Agent Sys­tems (with e.g. Pro­cessing)
  • Exper­i­ence in file format com­pat­ib­il­ity within the digital eco­sys­tem for archi­tec­ture and urban plan­ning
  • In-depth know­ledge of Excel
  • Know­ledge in data ana­lysis and data visu­al­iz­a­tion
  • Great interest in bio-com­pu­ta­tion in archi­tec­ture and urban plan­ning
  • Exper­i­ence in research pro­jects
  • Exper­i­ence and interest in sci­entific pub­lish­ing
  • Very good in word and writ­ing in Ger­man and Eng­lish
