Work­ing field:

  • Col­lab­or­a­tion in research in the above-men­tioned sub­ject area
  • Plan­ning and exe­cu­tion of exper­i­mental invest­ig­a­tions of internal com­bus­tion engines and tur­bochar­gers with regard to CO2 and pol­lut­ant emis­sions
  • Eval­u­ation of the exper­i­mental invest­ig­a­tions
  • Mod­el­ling of internal engine pro­cesses on the basis of the exper­i­mental invest­ig­a­tions pre­vi­ously car­ried out
  • Pos­sib­il­ity of doc­tor­ate given


  • Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree in engin­eer­ing (dip­loma, mas­ter's degree or equi­val­ent)
  • Know­ledge of internal com­bus­tion engines
  • In-depth under­stand­ing of ther­mo­dy­namic pro­cesses in com­bus­tion engines and tur­bochar­gers
  • Exper­i­ence with engine test benches and hot gas test benches desir­able
  • Know­ledge of Lab­View or com­par­able auto­ma­tion sys­tems
  • good com­mand of Ger­man and/or Eng­lish required; will­ing­ness to learn either Eng­lish or Ger­man is expec­ted
