Work­ing field:

Rese­arch and devel­op­ment tasks wit­hin the con­text of the DFG pro­ject "Elec­tro­nic Ana­log Mul­ti­ple­xer for High-Speed Com­mu­nic­a­tions Sys­tems" in coo­per­a­tion with the Fraun­ho­fer Insti­tute for Tele­com­mu­nic­a­tions, Hein­rich Hertz Insti­tute, HHI. The tasks include:
  • Rese­arch on the sub­ject of digit­all sig­nal pro­ces­sing and mod­el­ing of high-speed elec­tro­nic com­pon­ents
  • Plan­ning, con­struc­tion and oper­a­tion of labor­at­ory exper­i­ments
  • Coor­din­a­tion of work with pro­ject part­ners
  • Pub­lic­a­tion of the pro­ject res­ults in journ­als
  • Pre­sent­a­tion of pro­ject res­ults at natio­nal and inter­na­tio­nal meet­ings and con­fer­ences
  • PhD the­sis pre­par­a­tion is pos­sible


  • Suc­cess­fully com­ple­ted uni­ver­sity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in elec­tri­cal engin­eer­ing.
Also requi­red are:
  • Exper­i­ence in digi­tal Sig­nal pro­ces­sing for com­mu­nic­a­tions app­lic­a­tions, espe­cially non­lin­ear sig­nal pro­ces­sing
  • Flu­ency in Eng­lish in speak­ing and writ­ing
  • Prac­tical exper­i­ence in coomu­nic­a­tions labs is desir­able as well as exper­i­ence in the field of mod­el­ing elec­tro­nic high-speed com­pon­ents
  • Exper­i­ence in pro­gram­ming with Mat­lab is favor­able
