Research Assistant - 0.5 working time - salary grade E 13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen - 1st qualification period (PhD candidate)
Participation in research and teaching at the department for Building Archaeology and Built-Heritage Conservation
Supervising and facilitating the seminar architectural survey and building documentation with manual and digital methods, including also room register, material mapping, damage assessment, conservation and adaptive reuse conception planning in the master program of Building Archaeology and Heritage Conservation.
Handling and editing the documentation of the yearly studied project
Collaboration and participation in the department research projects,
Working on own PhD thesis
Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in Architecture; completion of a master study in the field of Building Archaeology and Built-Heritage Conservation is desired.
Deep knowledge and expertise in the field of Building Archaeology and Built-Heritage Conservation
Very good knowledge and expertise in digital and manual methods of building survey including tachymetric and photogrammetry
Good architectural documentation-relevant computer skills MS-Office; AutoCAD, graphic editing (Adobe: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator or alternative softwares), photogrammetry (FARO As-Built, AgiSoft Metashape), good knowledge in web based applications.
very good German and English skills
Social competence and good communication skills, a team spirit and the ability to cope with stress
high degree of independence, structured working method, and personal initiative
Ability to work self-responsible, reliability
