Research Assistant - 0.75 working time - salary grade E 13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen
The position is supervised by Dr. Martin Riemer and funded by the project “Age-related changes in time-space interferences and their relation to dysfunctions of the medial temporal lobe” supported by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
The project will apply high-end virtual reality techniques (head-mounted displays with real-time motion tracking) to investigate the interaction between temporal and spatial perception in realistic environments. We will test the development o f time-space interactions in healthy adults a s well as clinical patients.
With se veral research -dedicated 3T MRI scanners, MEG a nd EEG laboratories, a large VR motion tracking area and a great community of r esearchers, the TU Berlin offers an outstanding and stimulating environment for starting a career in cognitive neuroscience.
Being embedded in the local neuroscience community, you will additionally benefit from interactions with leading experts in other departments within the TU as well as the Department of Experimental

Successfully completed university degree (Diplom, Master or equivalent) in psychology, neuroscience, or a r elated f ield.
We are seeking enthusiastic candidates with a strong interest in time perception and/or spatial cognition. The ideal candidate possesses computer programming skills (e.g., Matlab, R, Python), and has prior experience with VR software (e.g., Unity) or a strong motivation to achieve these skills. You w ill be thorough, efficient, a good communicator and enjoy both working independently and as part of a dynamic team. As the handling of testparticipants (healthy and clinical) is required, German language skills are necessary for the position, good English skills are desired.
