Research Assistant-PostDoc - salary grade E 13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen

Work­ing field:

  • Research and teaching tasks in the research group ´Remote Sensing Image Analysis´
  • Development of deep neural networks and application to multi-source satellite data for Earth observation
  • Publishing research results
  • Support in system administration for various research projects

Require­ments:

  • Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) and PhD degree in computer science engineering or mathematics
  • Research experience in machine learning or image analysis and computer vision
  • Excellent programming skills (e.g., python) with experience using deep learning libraries
  • A solid track record of research in machine learning and computer vision journals and / or conferences
  • Excellent English oral and written communications skills; good command of German is required, willingness to extend the German language skills; the ability to teach, both in German and in English is required
