The DAI Labor (Distributed Artificial Intelligence Laboratories) and the Department of "Agent Technologies in Operational Applications and Telecommunications" (AOT) under the direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Dr. h.c. Sahin Albayrak have been conducting research since 1992 with the aim of developing and communicating technologies for a new generation of services and distributed systems. To this end, the DAI lab operates its own GPU cluster as well as distributed infrastructure on the Straße des 17. Juni (sensors, cameras).
We are looking for a Research Associate to support a research project called Health5G. The aim of the project is to identify novel innovative use cases enabled by 5G for the field of eHealth.
Development of systems within the framework of research projects
Scientific work including publication of research results
Supervision of students participating in the research project
Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in computer science or comparable disciplines
Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Natural Language Understanding
Experience with Transformer models, Few-Shot or Zero-Shot Classification
Knowledge of Domain-Specific Language Models
Experience with the development of user interfaces
Sound theoretical and practical knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence
Very good knowledge of English or very good knowledge of German; willingness to learn the language skills that are missing in each case
