Working field:
As part of the DFG project „Superposing particle interactions and hydration effects on the rheology of cementitious systems in the presence of different ions in the aqueous phase“ within the DFG priority program 2005 "Opus Fluidum Futurum - Rheology of reactive, multi-scale, multi-phase building material systems", work on the planning, implementation and evaluation of extensive investigations in the area of the rheological properties of inorganic binders and mortars is to be carried out. The work is interdisciplinary and concerns, on the one hand, investigations of building material and, on the other hand, investigations of the chemical-mineralogical interactions of cementitious binders, especially when using construction chemical additives. The results are to be scientifically evaluated and published in reports and publications.
Requirements:
Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in materials science, civil engineering with a focus on building materials science or related disciplines; In-depth knowledge in the field of building materials and building chemical additives is a prerequisite; Experience in the area of hydration of inorganic binders, the interaction of construction chemical additives and the rheology of building materials are advantageous; good knowledge of German and / or English; high motivation and ability to work independently in academic research; Experience in writing scientific publications should be available. When applying, please indicate any experience in the advertised topic and previously used analytical methods.
