Work­ing field:

  • Par­ti­cip­a­tion in the research pro­ject TRAPEZE in the area of legal com­pli­ance of mod­ern soft­ware applic­a­tions with pri­vacy reg­u­la­tions. Adja­cent research top­ics are Big Data and block­chain tech­no­lo­gies, as well as usable data pri­vacy man­age­ment.
  • Ment­or­ing of stu­dent work­ers and stu­dent theses.
  • Pos­sib­il­ity of writ­ing a doc­toral dis­ser­ta­tion.

  • Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in com­puter sci­ence or a related field.
  • Exper­i­ence with dis­trib­uted sys­tems, mid­dle­ware and data­base tech­no­lo­gies.
  • First exper­i­ences with dis­trib­uted ledger tech­no­lo­gies (like Hyper­ledger, Eth­ereum, and such­like).
  • Pro­gram­ming exper­i­ence in at least one pro­gram­ming lan­guage, such as JavaS­cript, Java, or Python.
  • Very good skills of abstrac­tion, mod­el­ling, and find­ing cre­at­ive solu­tions.
  • Goal-ori­ented and self-organ­ized work atti­tude.
  • Pro­fi­ciency in Eng­lish, writ­ten and spoken; good know­ledge of Ger­man or the will­ing­ness to learn it.
