Work in research projects in the area of distributed systems (Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies) and adjacent research topics, such as Data Science, Edge Computing and Internet of Things
Mentoring of student workers and student theses
Possibility of writing a doctoral dissertation
Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in computer science or a related field
Experience with distributed systems, middleware- and database technologies
Very good skills of abstraction, modelling, and finding creative solutions
Goal-oriented and self-organized work attitude
Proficiency in English; good command of German required resp. we expect the willingness to learn either language to reach the required level
