Work­ing field:

The holder of the pos­i­tion has the pos­sib­il­ity to work within a mul­tidiscip­lin­ary inter­na­tion­ally ori­ent­ated team focus­ing on health­care sys­tems, health­care research, health eco­nom­ics, and health tech­no­logy assess­ment. He or she has the oppor­tun­ity to con­trib­ute own ideas and abil­it­ies con­cern­ing research and teach­ing, and to work inde­pend­ently in sci­entific research with the aim of pro­mo­tion. Futhermore the tasks include the fol­low­ing aspects:
  • Par­ti­cip­a­tion in the work pro­gramme of the World Health Organ­iz­a­tion / European Obser­vat­ory on Health Sys­tems and Policies
  • Pre­par­a­tion of Health Sys­tems in Trans­ition (HiT) pro­files
  • Col­lab­or­a­tion in the pre­par­a­tion of (peer-reviewed) pub­lic­a­tions rel­ev­ant to the Depart­ment’s areas of work
  • Par­ti­cip­a­tion in inter­na­tional con­fer­ences and meet­ings

Require­ments:

  • Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Dip­lom, Mas­ter or equi­val­ent) in medi­cine, pub­lic health, eco­nom­ics, health eco­nom­ics, busi­ness admin­is­tra­tion or com­par­able degree in the area of health sci­ences or man­age­ment is man­dat­ory
  • Excel­lent writ­ing and oral skills in Eng­lish are required
  • Good com­mand of Ger­man required; will­ing­ness to learn Ger­man is expec­ted
  • Exper­i­ence with the usage of MS Office and rerefer­ence man­age­ment pro­grammes is neces­sary
  • Your per­sonal strengths include a high level of organ­iz­a­tional skills; the abil­ity to com­mu­nic­ate and work as part of a team; a high degree of flex­ib­il­ity; the abil­ity to cope with pres­sure and work inde­pend­ently
