Technical and scientific coordination of a european research project on experimental aerodynamics.
Design and construction of a powered wind-tunnel model for TU Berlin’s large low-speed wind tunnel
Installation of the required measurement systems on the wind-tunnel model
Organisation of wind-tunnel test campaigns in TU Berlin’s large low-speed wind tunnel
Data analysis, reporting of test results, and publications in scientific conferences and journals
Successful completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent with outstanding academic record
Experience in experimental aerodynamics, aerodynamic measurement techniques, and data analysis
Demonstrated experience in designing and manufacturing mechanical systems (ideally wind tunnel models) in a laboratory environment
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. CATIA), data acquisition (e.g. LabView), and scientific programming (e.g. Python, Matlab)
Proficiency in using typical office software (e.g. MS Office, LaTex)
Very good communication skills in English and German
