applied research in the context of the interdisciplinary development of a digital documentation tool (an app) with the aim of improving the prevention and medical health care of children
independent development and realization of research and evaluation studies based on user profiles and user experience of the digital tool (i. e. interviews, focus groups, usability testing, observations in situ, ect.)
user centered and iterative development and testing of the app’s content, especially health communication images, forms, charts and texts. This digital content is supposed to communicate medical information barrier-free and playfully to users with different language skills and (limited) understandings of statistics.
independent project management of parts of the development process
collaboration with experts in the fields of medicine, programming and design.
support of the software development process (implementation and piloting)
successfully completed University degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in psychology/Human Factors or anthropology/sociology with an emphasis on user centered technology development and design processes or in similar fields
knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods
work/research experience in the medical domain, for instance with usability design/usability evaluation, transparent risk communication, communication of medical information in a barrier-free and or playful way
project management experience
very good ability to speak and write in German
work experience in interdisciplinary teams and the ability to work independently in dynamic interdisciplinary settings
experience in research and development of online technologies
interest in qualitative research methods in the context of technology development
the candidate should enjoy communication and design processes as well as pursuing technical and medical problems
very good ability to speak and write in English
