Work­ing field:

In the Gan­zTi­er­Stark pro­ject, research is being con­duc­ted in close cooper­a­tion with prac­ti­tion­ers to find out how the use of regional organic beef from spe­cies-appro­pri­ate graz­ing in Ber­lin canteens can be strengthened.

  • Coordin­a­tion of the imple­ment­a­tion-ori­ented research work in the team
  • iden­ti­fic­a­tion of the obstacles and poten­tials (nation­wide and regional) for the use of organic beef in canteens also in regard to pro­cessing the entire animal by means of research and inter­view
  • Pre­par­a­tion, imple­ment­a­tion and eval­u­ation of action weeks
  • Pre­par­a­tion of the res­ults for prac­tice and sci­ence

Require­ments:

  • Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Dip­lom, Mas­ter or equi­val­ent) in agri­cul­tural sci­ences or mar­ket­ing, regional sci­ences or related courses with social sci­ence skills
  • Know­ledge of qual­it­at­ive social sci­ent­ist meth­ods (as e.g. lit­er­at­ure search, pre­par­a­tion, imple­ment­a­tion and ana­lysis of inter­views) is neces­sary
  • Exper­i­ence with sci­entific pub­lic­a­tions is required
  • Exper­i­ence in work­ing with prac­tice act­ors is neces­sary
  • Very good Ger­man and Eng­lish lan­guage skills in spoken and writ­ten are required
  • Phd or pro­ject exper­i­ence is desir­able
  • Exper­i­ence with the organic food industry (in Ber­lin-Branden­burg) or cater­ing is an advant­age
  • Know­ledge in the areas of regional mar­ket­ing, value chain and/or cooper­a­tion man­age­ment is desir­able
