Work­ing field:

  • Work in research pro­jects in the area of dis­trib­uted sys­tems (Block­chain and Dis­trib­uted Ledger Tech­no­lo­gies) and adja­cent research top­ics, such as Data Sci­ence, Edge Com­put­ing and Inter­net of Things
  • Ment­or­ing of stu­dent work­ers and stu­dent theses
  • Pos­sib­il­ity of writ­ing a doc­toral dis­ser­ta­tion

Require­ments:

  • Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in com­puter sci­ence or a related field
  • Exper­i­ence with dis­trib­uted sys­tems, mid­dle­ware- and data­base tech­no­lo­gies
  • Pro­gram­ming exper­i­ence in at least one pro­gram­ming lan­guage such as Javas­cript, Java, Python or C++
  • Very good skills of abstrac­tion, mod­el­ling, and find­ing cre­at­ive solu­tions
  • Goal-ori­ented and self-organ­ized work atti­tude
  • Pro­fi­ciency in Eng­lish; good com­mand of Ger­man required resp. we expect the will­ing­ness to learn either lan­guage to reach the required level
