Within the European research project H2020 SAFELiMOVE the TU Berlin will investigate materials processing for lithium batteries with solid state electrolyte.
The work at TU Berlin focusses on:
Fabricating of electrochemical cell arrays on planar substrates for simultaneous battery material investigation
Deposition of electrodes and electrolytes by screen printing and dispensing in argon containment, polymerizing of the electrolyte and optimization of deposition processes
Electrochemical characterization and data evaluation on cell array level
Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in electrical engineering, electronics technology, material science, chemical engineering, microsystems engineering or comparable
Knowledge and experience in the fields of micro-manufacturing processes (e.g. processing of silicon and glass substrates, screen printing, dispensing, electroplating, electrochemical testing)
Good command of German and and very good command of English (spoken and written)
Desirable knowledge in the fields of:
a) Chemical process engineering
b) Battery fabrication
Structured and independent way of working
Willingness to take responsibility for subtasks
Ability to work in a team, willingness to document
