Research and teaching at the Institute of Mathematics, in particular in the field of applied harmonic analysis, continuous optimization, neural networks and inverse problems; teaching duties also include exercise classes (4 SWS for a full time position) and seminars in mathematics and related fields
successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) and PhD in mathematics
in-depth knowledge in the field of functional analysis (ideally also in Fourieranalysis), and nonlinear optimization or convex analysis (ideally manifold values)
knowledge in the field of inverse problems
practical experience in software development in several common programming languages like e.g, C, C++, Python
practical experience in the field of deep learning
