Research Assist­ant-PostDoc - salary grade E 14 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len

under the reserve that funds are gran­ted - part-time employ­ment may be pos­sible

Work­ing field:

  • Sci­entific group man­age­ment for a team of up to ten research­ers / stu­dents (also in cooper­a­tion with the asso­ci­ated insti­tute GT-ARC)
  • Devel­op­ment of a research and pub­lic­a­tion concept for the research group
  • Co-super­vi­sion of Ph.D. and M.Sc. theses
  • Pro­ject acquis­i­tion and pro­ject man­age­ment

Require­ments:

  • Ph.D. degree in com­puter sci­ence or a related field with strong pub­lic­a­tion record
  • Excel­lent achieve­ments in research in the areas of vir­tu­al­ized and pro­gram­mable net­works, Al-based net­work man­age­ment, mobile edge com­put­ing, as well as com­mu­nic­a­tion solu­tions in the areas of autonom­ous driv­ing, smart grids or eHealth, proven by research pro­jects and pub­lic­a­tions.
  • Exper­i­ence in super­vising / lead­ing PhD stu­dents
  • Exper­i­ence in acquis­i­tion and man­age­ment of research pro­jects
  • good com­mand of Ger­man and/or Eng­lish required; will­ing­ness to learn either Eng­lish or Ger­man is expec­ted
