Research Assistant - 0.67 working time - salary grade E 13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen - 1st qualification period (PhD candidate)
Teaching and research in urban design and urban development, especially urban design studio teaching for BA Architecture, MA Architecture, MA Urban Design, MA Architecture Typology students, with the focus: urban analysis and design methods, conceptual thinking, cross-scale integrative planning, modes of cooperative planning, participation, urban models and theories (basics), information and communication technologies in urban design and development
collaboration in local and international research and teaching projects in this field
preparation of workshops, lectures, conferences, exhibitions and publications
successfully completed scientific university studies (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in architecture and/or urban design with a proven focus on urban design and urbanization.
professional experience in the conception of urban design projects, practical experience preferred
very good design and graphic skills
experience with digital media in planning and design
very good didactic, communicative and management skills
confident written and spoken communication in German and English, the ability to be able to teach in German and English is expected.
experience in scientific writing (f. e. scientific and professional journals, research applications)
experience in cooperative and participatory urban development procedures
