The Process Dynamics and Operations Group is looking for a new employee for an exciting third-party funded project (subject to approval of funding) in the field of CO2 capture using intensified separation apparatus. The project will explicitly investigate the use of rotating packed bed absorbers as an intensified counterpart to packing columns and further develop the process of amine-based CO2 absorption using these devices. The project includes the construction of an experimental plant, extended experimental campaigns and investigation of design modifications as well as process modeling to describe the dynamic process behavior.
