Working field:

  • research and teaching at the Chair of Innovation Economics
  • self-reliant organization and preparation of tutorials for the Chair’s lectures
  • supervision of term papers, Bachelor’s and Master’s theses
  • support in the completion of written and oral exams
  • participation in empirical and interdisciplinary research projects in the context of innovation-related fields
  • participation in raising external research funds

Requirements:

  • successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in management, business administration, economics, industrial engineering or similar
  • beneficial is a background in the economics of innovation, preferably linked either to the topic of sustainability or digitalization
  • profound theoretical knowledge in economics and/or management sciences
  • knowledge in relevant empirical methods and in popular statistical programs (e.g., Stata, R or Python)
  • team-oriented personality with excellent communication skills, interest in applied research
  • English and German in very good oral and written command; sufficient language proficiency to teach classes in both German and English is expected
