Within the framework of the DFG Priority Program SPP 2364, the subproject “Model-based process control for dynamic and efficient operation of liquid/liquid mixer-settler systems” is being worked on. Extensive experimental work is being carried out to determine drop size distributions and mass transfer in stirred liquid/liquid systems. The research project is a cooperation with the Chair of Control of TU Berlin (Prof. Knorn), with which the model-based control concept, based on the experimental results, is being developed in close collaboration. PhD thesis preparation is possible.
