Working field:

Scientific research and university teaching in the field of sociological research on technology and innovation:
  • participation in research and publication projects at the Chair
  • independent preparation and implementation of courses in the Bachelor and Master program "Sociology of Technology"

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. degree in sociology or equivalent
  • successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in sociology or related fields
  • good expertise in the sociology of technology and innovation
  • knowledge in the field of sociological theory
  • research experience in the field of qualitative empirical research
  • very good knowledge of German and English (spoken and written); sufficient language proficiency to teach classes in both German and English is expected
