Research Assistant - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen - 1st qualification period (PhD candidate)

Working field:

  • research and teaching at the research group Logic and Semantics
  • participation in the group´s research projects which focus on computational logic and structural and algorithmic graph theory, in particular the theory of digraph minors
  • support the teaching activities of the research group; in particular, organising and teaching classes for the undergraduate courses on logic and discrete structures

Requirements:

  • successfully completed university studies (Master, Diploma or equivalent) in computer science or mathematics
  • a strong interest in theoretical computer science
  • a strong background in either computational logic or structural and algorithmic graph theory, especially graph minor theory
  • a passion for teaching and working with students
  • sufficient language proficiency to teach classes in both German and English is expected
