Research Assistent - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen

subject to the approval of funds - part-time employment may be possible

Working field:

Research in the field of digitization and sustainability, especially in an EU project on energy- and greenhouse gas-conscious cloud and edge computing.
The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Requirements:

  • successfully completed technical and scientific university studies (Master's, Diploma or equivalent) with a focus on computer science or comparable degree
  • knowledge in the environmental evaluation of IT systems (esp. energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions)
  • self-reliant team player with high motivation
  • very good knowledge of spoken and written English
Desirable
  • computer science knowledge, in particular: machine learning, distributed systems, development of Android apps
  • already published scientific writings/publications
  • project experience
