Working field:

The BMBF research project WIKK*I - "Well-being in socio-spatial contexts: Intersectional Perspectives on Children's Experiences at Non-School Learning Sites" focuses on children's perspectives and investigates (1) how they experience non-school learning sites in socio-spatial contexts, (2) how dimensions of inequality (including class, race, gender) are inscribed in these children's experiences and perceptions, and (3) which concrete options for action in urban and educational planning can be developed from the findings in cooperation with practitioners and municipal stakeholders. Case studies will be in Germany.
You will conduct research with children using dialogic and participatory formats. Exploratory design games will be used as a communication and negotiation strategy. The results will be presented in practice-oriented formats as well as in scientific publications.
