Work­ing field:

  • Conducting courses (exercises and practical laboratory courses) of the Chair
  • Planning and conducting of excursions
  • Supervising and assessing final works
  • Organisation of lectures and courses, planning terms and exams
  • Administration of the web presence of the Chair (ISIS and Homepage)


  • A successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering or comparable studies
  • An absolute requirement is detailed knowledge and expertise in using the TU’s internal portals ISIS, Moses, Typo3, and Qispos
  • The applicants are expected to have deep knowledge in reference to the content of the exercises in the field of drinking and waste water, e.g.: calculating and predicting the supply; drinking water purification, distribution and storage; rainwater management; wastewater transport; technologies of wastewater treatment plants.
  • Applicants must have practical lab experience
  • A precondition for the job is deep knowledge in biological treatment using moving bed methods and the biological elimination of phosphorus
  • An experience in sustainable sanitary systems would be preferable
