Research fellow {m/f/d) in the field of novel electronic materials
with part-time employment (75 %) limited to 4 years - E 13 TV-L HU
Tasks
Your responsibilities:
- scientific services in research and teaching in german language (3SWS
- fabrication and characterization of electronic materials, nano- and quantum structures
- setting up and conducting magneto-transport experiments in the Novel Materials group
- contributing to scientific exchange with national and international research cooperation partners
- tasks related to own scientific qualification (doctorate)
Requirements
What you bring to the table:
- completed scientific university education in physics or materials science with a specialization in solid-state physics and above-average grades
- knowledge of semiconductor physics and technology
- proficiency in spoken and written German (at least C1)
- very good written and spoken English skills (at least B2)
- good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Origin, LabView, Python, e.g.
- ability to work independently and excellent experimental scientific skills
- ability to work in a team and cooperate with others
What would be desirable:
- fundamentals of knowledge transfer desired
