Your responsibility
The Karottine project aims to promote more sustainable nutrition in communal catering by increasing the percentage of plant-based products in the menu. In cooperation with Münster University of Applied Sciences, the Fördergemeinschaft Ökologischer Landbau (FÖL) (Association for the Promotion of Organic Agriculture), organic processing companies as well as canteens and caterers, the project aims to strengthen the nutritional and preparation skills of communal catering in Berlin-Brandenburg, support more sustainable consumption and eating habits among consumers, and promote cooperation along the value chain. The ZTG is responsible for exploring the requirements and difficulties of the participating canteens and processing companies, the eating habits, expectations and feedback of canteen guests, and evaluating the planned action weeks (including the ecological added value).
Your profile
- Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in social sciences, nutrition or regional sciences, or agricultural marketing
- Experience in conducting and evaluating qualitative and quantitative social science methods (interviews, focus groups, quantitative surveys, etc.)
- Experience with consumer research in the field of nutrition
- Experience in conducting inter- and transdisciplinary practice-oriented research projects
- Experience in developing scientific publications
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills (C1 level)
- Relevance to the topic of communal catering and cooperation in regional value chains advantageous
- Experience in acquiring third-party funding and organizational skills advantageous
