Contributing to a research project concerning disengagement/de-radicalisation processes of Islamist extremists
In this government funded research project, we will standardise and analyse data collected from counsellors in the field of Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) regarding developmental trajectories of former Islamists. As a member of the research team at the Centre for Technology and Society's department of Security - Risk - Criminology, the research associate's duties include developing a survey instrument in consultation with practitioners as well as conducting the actual survey amongst practitioners.
