Work­ing field:

  • Par­ti­cip­a­tion in the BMBF-fun­ded pro­ject "Peer Innov­a­tion: Sus­tain­able House­hold Innov­a­tion in Col­lab­or­at­ive Net­works"
  • Invest­ig­a­tion of innov­a­tion pro­cesses in online-based user com­munit­ies using net­no­graphic research approaches
  • Research and devel­op­ment of met­rics for meas­ur­ing house­hold innov­a­tion
  • Data col­lec­tion using web scrap­ing
  • Devel­op­ment of a soft­ware lib­rary for the empir­ical col­lec­tion of suit­able indic­at­ors
  • Present­a­tion of res­ults at national and inter­na­tional con­fer­ences and in sci­entific pub­lic­a­tions


  • Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in busi­ness admin­is­tra­tion, eco­nom­ics, indus­trial engin­eer­ing or com­par­able fields of study
  • Know­ledge in the field of innov­a­tion eco­nom­ics, prefer­ably also from the area of innov­a­tion com­munit­ies
  • Exper­i­ence in the applic­a­tion of rel­ev­ant meth­ods of empir­ical eco­nomic research
  • Good know­ledge of com­mon stat­ist­ical soft­ware (e.g. Stata, R or Python)
  • Strong pro­gram­ming skills (e.g. Python, Java, SQL), espe­cially in the area of web / web scrap­ing (Python, HTML, XML, CSS, Javas­cript)
  • Interest in applied research;Good verbal and writ­ten com­mu­nic­a­tion skills (Ger­man, Eng­lish)
  • Exper­i­ence in the present­a­tion of research res­ults at sci­entific con­fer­ences desir­able
  • Exper­i­ence with regard to the pub­lic­a­tion of sci­entific art­icles in inter­na­tional, peer-reviewed journ­als desir­able
  • Abil­ity to work in a team
