Tech­nis­chen Uni­versität Ber­lin (TUB) seeks to appoint

2 Vis­it­ing Pro­fess­ors from Industry

for the fac­ulties I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII.

The pro­gram "Joint Pro­grammes for Female Sci­ent­ists & Pro­fes­sion­als" ( pro­motes altern­at­ive career paths in aca­demia and inter-sec­toral col­lab­or­a­tion. Vis­it­ing pro­fess­or­ships aim at enabling women in research & devel­op­ment depart­ments of busi­ness com­pan­ies to build stronger net­works with aca­demia in order to increase the per­cent­age of women at uni­versit­ies in the long term.
The vis­it­ing pro­fess­or­ships can be filled full-time (100%) for 6 months or part-time (50%) for up to 12 months. The start­ing date for the pro­fess­or­ships is April 2021. The salary is based on the salary scheme for guest lec­tures at TU Ber­lin.

Work­ing field:

Research and teach­ing accord­ing to the can­did­ate´s area of expert­ise. Applic­ants are asked to pass their exper­i­ence on to young female sci­ent­ists in the frame­work of career events and the will­ing­ness to cooper­ate with other research areas at TU Ber­lin.


Can­did­ates should ful­fill the formal require­ments in com­pli­ance with §§ 113 and 100 Ber­lHG (Ber­lin Higher Edu­ca­tion Act). Can­did­ates must be cur­rently employed in industry and pos­sess research exper­i­ence; gender and diversity com­pet­ence; good com­mand of Eng­lish. Inten­ded research and teach­ing activ­it­ies must integ­rate well into the research and teach­ing pro­file of an exist­ing chair or an insti­tute at TU Ber­lin and must be sup­por­ted by a cooper­at­ing pro­fessor at TU Ber­lin.
