Work­ing field:

  • par­ti­cip­a­tion in the teach­ing activ­it­ies of the chair of "Flight Guid­ance and Air Trans­port­a­tion"
  • par­ti­cip­a­tion in the depart­ment's own events (e.g. Long Night of Sci­ence, Techno-Club)
  • par­ti­cip­a­tion in research activ­it­ies in the field of UAS Oper­a­tions, UAS-Avion­ics Sys­tems, UAS Traffic Man­age­ment, Mixed Air­space Oper­a­tions of manned and unmanned avi­ation sys­tems

Require­ments:

  • suc­cess­fully com­pleted a sci­entific uni­versity degree (Dip­lom, Mas­ter or equi­val­ent) in aerospace engin­eer­ing (an above-aver­age thesis is desired)
  • in-depth spe­cial­ist know­ledge in the fields of flight guid­ance and flight oper­a­tions, UAS oper­a­tions, UAS Traffic Man­age­ment and UAS Avion­ics Sys­tems
  • will­ing­ness to set inde­pend­ent sci­entific pri­or­it­ies within the above-men­tioned areas of research
  • pro­found know­ledge of MS Office and oper­at­ing sys­tems
  • proven pro­gram­ming skills through final theses (C, Mat­lab, Python)
  • know­ledge of elec­tron­ics, embed­ded pro­cessors, and sensor inter­faces and exper­i­ence in work­ing with and modi­fy­ing UAS desir­able
  • teach­ing and research exper­i­ence as well as exper­i­ence in deal­ing with lar­ger groups of stu­dents desir­able
  • busi­ness flu­ent Eng­lish lan­guage skills desir­able
