Work­ing field:

Par­ti­cip­a­tion in research and teach­ing at the Insti­tute of Math­em­at­ics; organ­iz­a­tion and teach­ing of exer­cise ses­sions and sem­inars in the field of con­trol the­ory and optim­iz­a­tion with par­tial dif­fer­en­tial equa­tions, in par­tic­u­lar "Feed­back con­trol and min­imum energy estim­a­tion of non­lin­ear PDEs".

Require­ments:

  • suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in math­em­at­ics
  • detailed know­ledge in the areas of con­trol the­ory, optim­iz­a­tion with par­tial dif­fer­en­tial equa­tions, numer­ical meth­ods and model reduc­tion, doc­u­mented by very good grades
  • teach­ing exper­i­ence with tutori­als or exer­cise ses­sions
  • good com­mand of Ger­man and Eng­lish, both writ­ten and spoken, will­ing­ness to acquire lack­ing lan­guage skills
