Work­ing field:

  • exe­cu­tion of teach­ing mod­ules for Bach­elor and Mas­ter cur­ricula in Ger­man on the top­ics basics on road oper­a­tion and design, com­puter based road design and oper­a­tion, cur­rent top­ics of road plan­ning and op-era­tion as well as city plan­ning
  • acquis­i­tion of research pro­jects
  • pub­lic­a­tion of research res­ults and pub­lic rela­tion work
  • work­ing in a team of open and com­mit­ted sci­ent­ists
  • con­tri­bu­tion to aca­demic self-admin­is­tra­tion

Require­ments:

  • a suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in the field trans­port­a­tion engin­eer­ing or civil engin­eer­ing with the focus on trans­port­a­tion plan­ning
  • good know­ledge of road plan­ning, oper­a­tion, design and traffic safety
  • suf­fi­cient lan­guage pro­fi­ciency to teach classes in both Ger­man and Eng­lish is expec­ted

Desired are:
  • good know­ledge in fol­low­ing soft­ware pro­grams: LISA+, Vis­sim, Auto­CAD, Vestra
  • com­mit­ment, abil­ity to work in a team and coordin­ate, inde­pend­ent and self-reli­ant work­ing style
