Fundamental research in the field of theoretical physics of nonlinear and quantum optics, participation in the CRC 951 "Theory of ultrafast interaction and spectroscopy at atomically thin semiconductor monolayer – organic molecule interfaces" / sub-project B12
Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in physics or a related field;
very good knowledge in theoretical condensed matter physics, in particular for treating disorder, dissipation, quantum cascades and nonlinear (HIOS) exciton interactions within non-Markovian equation of motion and tensor network methods for non-equilibrium quantum-many body dynamics beyond mean field approaches.
Necessary are very good knowledge of the German and English language, high level of programming skills in C, or C++, expliticitly desired experience in handling numerical packages such as iTensor, or MPNUM, and the commitment and ability to work independently.
