Work­ing field:

Research within pro­ject A1 "Con­trol and dynam­ics of mul­tilayer net­works" in the frame­work of CRC 910 "Con­trol of self-organ­iz­ing non­lin­ear sys­tems: The­or­et­ical meth­ods and con­cepts of applic­a­tion". Ana­lyt­ical and numer­ical study of syn­chron­iz­a­tion pat­terns in net­works.

Require­ments:

Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) and doc­toral degree in phys­ics; strong back­ground in the­or­et­ical phys­ics, in par­tic­u­lar, in non­lin­ear dynam­ics and the­ory of com­plex net­works; exper­i­ence in numer­ical sim­u­la­tion and the­or­et­ical ana­lysis of delay dif­fer­en­tial equa­tions and stochastic dif­fer­en­tial equa­tions is desir­able; an excel­lent com­mand of Eng­lish is required
