Research assist­ant - 0.5 work­ing time - salary grade E13 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len

Research pro­ject "Voca­tional Teach­ing Pro­fes­sions and Dif­fer­ence: Dis­course Ana­lysis of Group Dis­cus­sions for a Diversity-Sens­it­ive Recruit­ment of Stu­dents" in the frame­work of TUB Teach­ing II (BMBF Qual­ity Offens­ive Teacher Edu­ca­tion)

Work­ing field:

Imple­ment­a­tion of the work pack­ages of the research pro­ject (in par­tic­u­lar plan­ning, con­duct­ing and ana­lysis of group dis­cus­sions), present­a­tion and pub­lic­a­tion of res­ults, sup­port of pro­ject man­age­ment.

Require­ments:

Suc­cess­fully com­pleted uni­versity degree in edu­ca­tional or social sci­ences. We are look­ing for can­did­ates with pro­found know­ledge of ped­ago­gical pro­fes­sional research, fem­in­ist the­or­ies (also related to tech­no­logy) as well as qual­it­at­ive social research. First prac­tical research exper­i­ences in recon­struct­ive qual­it­at­ive research includ­ing data col­lec­tion and ana­lysis as well as desir­ably with a dis­course ana­lyt­ical and/or sub­jectiv­a­tion ana­lyt­ical approach are required for the pos­i­tion. In addi­tion, we expect very good organ­iz­a­tional skills, work­ing inde­pend­ently, high com­mu­nic­a­tion and team skills, excel­lent style of oral and writ­ten expres­sion in Ger­man lan­guage. Per­fect Ger­man lan­guage skills are abso­lutely required for the job. Good eng­lish skills are desired.
